How to install with a manifest URL in Foundry vTT

Follow these simple steps to manually install a Foundry module using a manifest URL:

  • Open your Foundry VTT
  • Go to Add-on Modules
  • Click Install Module
  • Scroll to the bottom — you’ll see the Manifest URL field
  • Paste the Manifest URL you copied
  • Click Install

Installing with manifest URL in Forge

Here's how to install a module with animated battlemaps in Forge:

  • Select Modules from the Forge main panel
  • Click Install From Manifest
  • Paste the manifest link into the text field in the pop-up window
  • Click Install Module

Activate your animated battlemaps module in your game

Once your animated battlemaps module is installed, here’s how to activate it in your game world:

  • Go to Game Settings
  • Select Manage Modules
  • Find the name of the animated battlemaps module you installed
  • Click Save Module Settings
  • Click Yes — Foundry will reload
  • Go to Compendium Packs
  • Find the pack with the title of the animated battlemaps module
  • Click it to open its contents
  • Right-click an entry and select Import Entry
  • Or right-click the whole pack and choose Import All for convenience
  • Your animated battlemaps will appear under Scenes, ready to use!
